VMRE/Syncura, a Belgian real estate management organization known for its high-quality service, faced a disruptive threat from a fully digital French competitor entering the Belgian market. While VMRE’s operations were largely manual, the competitor offered online accessibility for essential services.
The objective was to prototype and test a digital transformation of VMRE/Syncura’s service approach, enabling them to compete with the agile, digital-first strategy of the potential market entrant.
We conducted a four-week design sprint, focusing on redesigning the customer journey, shifting to a digital-first model, and refining pricing and market positioning strategies.
The project led to the launch of a ‘Syndic-as-a-Service’ platform and a solid go-to-market strategy, strengthening VMRE’s position. The acquisition of a local digital competitor further blocked the French rival’s entry, boosting customer engagement and driving revenue growth.
